NATA Examination 2013,2014

1. What is NATA ?

Full form of NATA is-National Aptitude Test in Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability, that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study.

2. Who should take NATA?

Prospective applicants desirous of taking admission to First year of undergraduate course in Architecture (Bachelor of Architecture) in India

3. How to register for NATA?

1.    Purchase NATA 2013 Registration form by payment of NATA fees of Rs. 1000.00 vide bank challan at selected branches of “ICICI Bank”.

2.    Fill up the Registration form and procure the necessary registration documents.

3.    Select a Test Center (from the website http://www.nata.in) at a location convenient to the candidate.

4.    Approach the Test Center  with the filled up form and the documents.

5.    Select convenient date for appearing for NATA

6.    Request Test Center to register the candidate on the selected date.

7.    Procure Receipt cum Appointment voucher from the Test center

8.    Appear for NATA on the registered date

4. When and where is the Score card available?

The score cards will be available on NATA website in e-format, usually, on the fourth working day after the test.

5. What is the cutoff marks at NATA?

As per Council of Architecture regulations, a candidate applying to any school / college of architecture in India should have achieved 40% score in NATA, i.e. at least 80/200, for consideration of admission into first year B.Arch.

Eligibility: Candidates having 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subject, only are eligible for admission to B.Arch.Course.

NATE 2013 Examination Date:
    NATA can be given on any working day from 20th March 2013 onward, until 31 August 2013, at the designated Test Centres.
    However candidates are advised to appear for NATA, at least six working days prior to the cut off date for applying for admission to the colleges of their preference in respective states.
