Staff Selection Commission COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL TIER-I and TIER II EXAMINATION Process,Syllabus and question paper

Combined Graduate Level is conducted by Staff Selection Commission. CGL examination is conducted in three steps: Step 1. COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL (TIER-I) EXAMINATION Step 2. COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL (TIER-II) EXAMINATION Step 3. COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL (TIER-III) EXAMINATION TIER I examination is Objective type Multiple choose question depend on 4 major part: A) General Intelligence and Reasoning  B)General Awareness  C) Quantitative Aptitude  D) English Comprehension  TIRE II examination is Objective type questions depend on 3 major subjects. For the post of Assistants, inspector of Income Tax, Inspector central exise, inspector PO Tax assistant etc. The Examination will consist of Two Paper: A) Paper I: Arithmetical Ability 200 Marks (100 Questions) B) Paper II : English Language & Comprehension 200 marks. For the post of Statistical Investigators Gr. II and Compilers, The examination will consist of three papers : A) Paper I: Arithmetical Ability 200 Marks (100 Questions) B) Paper II : English Language & Comprehension 200 marks. C) Commerce/Mathematics Statistics/Economics 200 marks For the post of Sub Inspector in Central Police Organisations, the examination will consist of one paper : A) Paper I: English Language and Compression 200 marks Tier III : Personality Test / Interview or Skill Test Candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector in CPO will be required to undergo Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Medical Examination.

This year SSC CGL Tier I examination was held in two separate date 19.05.2013 and 21.04.2013. And this year SSC CGL Tire II examination will be conducted 31.08.2013 (Paper III) and 01.09.2013 (Paper I and II). Those who passed the Tier I examination only can take part of the Tier II examination.
