STEPS OF MULTI-STATION PARALLEL COUNSELLING
(Candidates should follow and complete all the steps mentioned below for completion of admission procedure in all respect. Skipping of any step may lead to cancellation of allotment/admission and thereby losing of merit position).

Step-1 Collection of Rank Card from the ‘Rank Card Issue Counter’ by showing JEXPO Admit
Card in original. Fill in the required data shown below the Rank Card, specially your Home District from where you passed Madhyamik / equivalent examination to facilitate Selection Committee for offering you available ‘District Quota Seats’ and put your signature in the space provided. 

Step-2 Enter into the ‘Verification Room’ for getting your original testimonials verified by
the officials of Selection Committee in accordance  with your submission in the application form. Take the ‘Rank Card’, duly stamped and signed by the verifying official. 

Step-3 Pay Counselling Fee of Rs.500/- through demand draft in ‘Bank Counter’, specified for
receiving of Counselling Fee.

Step-4 Go to ‘Computer Verification Counter’ and show your ‘Rank Card’ to the officials.
Take the ‘Rank Card’ from the officials, duly stamped superscribing ‘System Verified’ after necessary entry by him/her in the computer. Put your signature in the Attendance Sheet. 

Step-5 Wait in the ‘Verified Candidates Waiting Zone’ till you are called for allotment in 
order of merit position. During this time, watch the availability of seats and upto which rank the seat is allotted in the LCD screen; set-up your mind for obtaining an available seat and prepare a list of combination of institute and branch of your choice in order of your preference.  The abbreviations of Polytechnics and Branches, reservation quotas, which will be used for display  in the LCD screens during counselling, are furnished below. 

Step-6 Enter into the ‘Allotment Zone’ when called for and go to any counter which is free,
only with the Rank Card and Bank Draft of Rs.2,000/-. Show your ‘Rank Card’ to the counter official and you will be shown the availability of seats. After choosing your institute and branch the same will be booked by the counter official, if available, and you will be issued with a ‘Booking Slip’ showing the booked institute and branch. 

Step-7 Pay Demand Draft of Rs.2,000/- in ‘Bank Counter’, specified for receiving Admission
Fee.

Step-8 Go to the ‘Allotment Letter Issue Counter’ and provide your ‘Booking Slip’ and ‘Rank 
Card’. You will be issued with duly stamped formal ‘Allotment Letter’ after retaining the ‘Booking Slip’ and ‘Rank Card’ by the official. Check the allotment letter for any discrepancy and then leave the counselling zone.  

Note: 1.    The candidates may have to wait in the queue at any step, mentioned above. Maintaining queue properly and keeping silence while waiting in the queue will enable selection committee to work smoother and faster. 

 2.   Getting ‘Allotment Letter’ from the counselling centre does not mean admission is over. The candidate will have to report to the Principal/Officer-in-Charge of the respective institute where allotment has been made for taking final admission within the specified date mentioned in the allotment letter failing which the allotment will be stand cancelled.
