JEXPO 2012 | VOCLET 2012 admission guidelines

Here are some Jexpo 2012 and VOCLET 2012 admission guidelines.

1. Admisson in the first year of all categories will require valid rank in JEXPO-2012 and minimum 35% marks in aggregate in Madhyamik or equivalent examination.

2. 30% of total seats in each district will be kept reserved for the respective district candidates. Candidates must be pass Madhyamik or equivalant examination from the district for which he/she claims district reservation facility.

3. 50% out of the district quota seats mentioned above will be reserved for district female candidates. Female seats will be converted to male seats in case of non-availability of sufficient number of female candidates.

4. 70% of total seats in each branch will be filled up by the valid rank holders of JEXPO-2012  through counselling.

5. There is no management quota in case of admission to the 2nd year of diploma courses in self-financed polytechnic.

6. As per lateral entry to 2nd year diploma scheme of AICTE, maximum 20% of sanctioned intake will be filled up on super-numerery basis by valid rank holder of VOCLET-2012 through counseling candidates passing 12th class Science with Vocational/Technical subjects or X+ 2 years ITI with approprite specialization are only eligible for admission to this category. ITI candidates must possess NCVT certificates before they apply for admission.

These guidelines will remain valid for the academic session 2012-2013, and thereafter unless substituted/moderated by a fresh G.O.
