Poly 40 second counseling in KNSHH zone will be started from 18/08/2011. All wait listed and rank holder can attend this counseling process. Please read carefully the notice:
The 2nd phase counselling of candidates for admission to the State Polytechnics through POLY-40 will be conducted as per programme given hereinafter on the basis of revised merit list. The revised merit list of the candidates has been prepared and rank of the candidates in different categories has been made on the basis of information furnished by the candidates in their application forms in respect of their age, qualification, marks, caste or physically challenged status, etc. The counselling will be conducted based on rank position.Central/District Selection Committee will verify all original testimonials at the time ofcounselling with respect to the submission by the candidates in their respective application form. On verification of mark sheet of qualifying examination, percentage of aggregate marks excluding marks obtained in optional subject should conform to the marks shown in the merit list. In case marks shown in the merit list is higher than the actual score of the candidate, the candidate should not be allowed admission and in such event the candidature of the candidate will be cancelled forthwith without assigning any reason thereof. The candidates must pass Madhyamik or equivalent examination securing at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST Category) with 50% marks in Mathematics and Physical Science taken together.Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories will be admitted on the basis of merit position in the respective categories to which they belong.The candidates who have been merit listed and possessed valid documents regarding his/her submission in Admission Form and fulfilled all eligibility criteria will be allowed to attend the counselling programme in their respective category after verification of all relevant original documents and will be offered admission on the basis of availability of seat.
