Attention Please

The starting date of counseling for the admission in Polytechnics Colleges in West Bengal through Jexpo, Poly 40 and VOCLET are changed. Venue and other information are not changed.

1) Counseling date for VOCLET will be start on 8 July 2011 again changed to 11 July 2011. 
2) Counseling date for JEXPO will be start on 18 July 2011.

* Bank counter will be open at the Venue for submitting counseling fee. Candidates can deposit their Counseling fee in the Bank Counter (Account number-31804068319 )  or Candidates can purchases a Demand Draft form any State Bank of India's Branch. Draft will be drawn in favour of "WEST BENGAL STATE COUNCIL OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION-A/C COUNSELING" payable at "KOLKATA".
Counseling  Fee:
By cash Rs. 450/- ( Deposited in said account) or By Demand Draft Rs. 425/-

Candidates need to be download an Option Form and the form will be submitted at the time of counseling.

Hi

I heard about collecting two forms from Polytecnic colleges - "Admission Form" and "Pre-councilling Leaflets". Do you know how they are different and which one is applicable for Poly 40 qualified candidates?

For your kind information- You have to collect "Admission form" and download "Option form". Pre-counseling leaflets is not essential, it's contain only information about counseling. Down load a option form from link given in this post and collect a "Application form" from any Polytechnic College by cash payment Rs. 20/-.

Exact data and time is not announced by WBSCTE. When they will announce the exact date and time and about the documents. I will inform you via this website. So keep your eye on this website.
By the 4th notice they inform to us that the counseling will be start after 26 July 2011.

Counseling date was not published. But by the last notice WBSCTE inform that counseling will be start after 26 JULY. Hello Mr.1160, It is quite possible to get admission in government polytechnic college in Kolkata district. But I don't know about the tread or subject. I think admission in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Electronic will be hard. But best of luck. You are nothing without time and luck. Every thing is possible if you have good luck and perfect time. This year my 10 students out of 14 are ranked in VOCLET. But the best rank holder miss the admission process.What you can say about it? Bad time or bad luck.

I think less than 1500 rank will have a good chance to get admission in government polytechnic colleges.Here is a list of main polytechnic colleges offers Diploma in Electrical Engineering in Kolkata:APC Ray Polytechnic,J C Ghosh Polytechnic, North Calcutta Polytechnic, Calcutta Technical School, R K Mission Shilpapitha, Central Calcutta Polytechnic, Shree Ramkrishna Institute of Science & Technology. These colleges are in proper kolkata and all colleges have 40-60 sets each. In 40-60 sets only 15-18 sets are available for poly40 rank holder. Remember it that the list is only for Electrical Tread. Keep your Eye on this site till 26 or 27th July. I shall provide you the total list of colleges and treads for poly 40 rank holders. Best of luck.

I think you have very little bit chance to get civil in government colleges. Most of the time civil and government colleges are filled by 1 to 500 ranker. Go to the counseling process and after your counseling , please inform me about which colleges and tread you choose.
