Admission procedure:
West Bengal State Council of Technical Education offers Diploma Courses in Engineenng / Technology which are taught in different Government, Sponsored, Aided & Self-Financing Polytechnics / Institutes / Organisations of West Bengal or any other State affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. Candidates who have passed Madhyamik (10+) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination from any school approved by the WBSCTE are eligible for admission to the full-time Diploma Course.
All of the allotted seats 60% are filled up on the basis of the merit list of the "Joint Entrance Examination for Admission to State Polytechnics(JEXPO)" conducted by the "West Bengal State Council of Technical Education".
