  The Staff Selection Commission is making recruitment to the posts of Multi Tasking Staff in Pay Band-1( 5200- 20200/-) + Grade Pay 1800/-,(Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level
– 01) a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States

Board.

All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled
Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are
exempted from paying application fee, as per extant government orders.

(i): The candidates who are not exempted from paying examination fee may submit the
requisite fee through State Bank of India only either in the form of challan, generated
on line, or through SBI Net Banking. Payment can also be made through any Credit
or Debit Card.

(ii) Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.

MTS 2016 Notification 

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:

(A) SCHEME OF THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION AND SYLLABUS

The written examination will consist of (Paper-I) objective type paper and (PaperII)
descriptive type as shown below :
Paper-I:
a) General Intelligence & Reasoning ( 25questions)- 25 Marks
b) NumericalAptitude( 25 questions)- 25 Marks
c) General English( 50 questions)- 50 marks
d) General Awareness(50 questions)- 50 marks
Total Duration /Timing for General candidates :
2 Hours,
10.00 A.M. to 12.00Noon
(No entry after 9.30A.M.)
or
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
(No entry after 1.30P.M.)
Total Duration/Timing for Visually Handicapped/ Cerebral Palsy candidates
2 Hours 40 Mins.
10.00 A.M. to 12.40PM
(No entry after 9.30A.M.)

2:00 PM to 4:40 PM
(No entry after 1.30P.M.)

 Paper-II:
Short Essay/Letter in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. Max. Marks:- 50
Duration: 30 minutes ( 45 minutes for VH/Cerebral Palsy Candidates)

NOTE-I : Paper-I will consist of Objective Type- Multiple choice questions only.
The questions will be set both in English & Hindi. The Commission
reserves the right to set the questions additionally in regional languages
subject to technical feasibility.

 NOTE-II: There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the
questions.

NOTE-III: Paper-II will be descriptive in which the candidate will be required to write
short essay/letter in English or any language included in the 8th schedule
of the Constitution.

 NOTE-IV: Paper-II will only be of qualifying nature and is intended to test elementary
language skills in view of recategorization of the post as Group-C and in
view of job requirements.

NOTE-V: Paper-II will be held only for such candidates who meet the cut-off prescribed
by the Commission in Paper-I for different categories.
